Whether science is good or evil has always been a heated topic. Some say science has greatly improved people"s living standard. New medicines have been invented to lengthen people"s life expectancy; new machines have been created to make people"s life easier. They therefore conclude that science is good. a%\6 L

However, quite a lot of people have got opposite ideas about science. They think science is destroying our human beings. Air, water and land are being polluted; advanced technology has brought about such deadly weapons as missiles and nuclear bombs which threaten our existence in this world. Consequently they suggest science is evil. F"p7&e\W|l

I am different from the above two kinds of people. In my opinion, science is never a "troublemaker" and the problem does not lie in science itself. It’s man’s responsibility to decide the effects of science. If science is properly used, it will benefit mankind; if it is misused, it will lead to tragic result. So it is up to us to make science a blessing rather than a curse to mankind. R]dN-'U
